TORONTO, CANADA -- A few data visualization experts that say they love to tell stories about Canada have an interesting lesson for what local governments can do with open data.

The 10 and 3 firm used national survey and census data to map what percentage of people living in each Toronto neighborhood use public transit to get to work. The map can help advise improvements to the city’s public transit system.
