PRINCETON, W.VA. — County Commissioner Greg Puckett was recently chosen to facilitate discussion on national opioid issues by the National Association of Counties.

Puckett said the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference & Exposition will be held July 24 through 27 in Columbus, Ohio.

“For the past 16 or so years, I’ve been able to represent our area in regards to the drug issues we face locally on a state and national level,” Puckett said. “Last year, I was honored to be one of only 10 county officials from throughout the United States on the National Association of Counties (NACo) opioid task force. That combined experience and education has allowed me to participate on a variety of levels, and I’m honored to be selected by NACo to facilitate a national discussion on the opioid epidemic that is plaguing communities across our country.”
